With Betaout’s email marketing feature you can set up different type of email campaigns. You can create and send newsletters with WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. Set-up Broadcast Campaigns, behavioural email Campaign and Event triggered campaigns without any technical knowledge with detailed reports on open rate, click rate, bounces, unsubscribes, GMV and conversions of the campaigns.
The above image represents Broadcast Dashboard with complete details of each campaign executed in terms of the no. of emails Delivered, Opened, Clicked, Bounced and Unsubscribed as well as the GMV and number of orders generated.
CAMPAIGNS:
This feature enables you to set-up 4 types of Campaigns namely Broadcast Campaigns, Event triggered campaigns, behavioural email Campaign and One-One Campaign.
BROADCAST:
Messages that can be sent to all of the users, or a group of users, targeted by smart segmentation.By clicking on campaigns you can see the results of individual campaigns with its name and sent/scheduled date. From the actions column, you can refresh, view the campaign/newsletter that was sent, make a clone of that campaign, delete the campaign, and by clicking on stats icon you can all the Email address of users have performed certain actions like opened the mail or clicked on the mail.
HOW TO CREATE A CAMPAIGN:
1. Click on Create New Campaign.
2. Choose the Campaign type from Newsletter, Event triggered or Email Sequence (Behavioural).
3. Name the campaign.
4. Click on Save & Next step.
5. Select any one from our set of pre-designed Email Templates. Select custom HTML if you already have a designed Template.
6. After selecting Template, put the subject in the subject line and edit the HTML template
7. Preview email by clicking on Preview and change the template at any point of time. Send a test mail to see if it’s going fine or not.
8. Now click on save & next, choose recipients (use a particular segment/lifecycle or again segment user on the basis of a particular event(Action performed by user. Eg: viewing a product or added to cart).
9. Click on save & next and save the campaign and its properties. Now select ‘send now’ or ‘schedule’ the campaign to run on a particular date.
10. Check if the Campaign is working.
Similarly you can create
EVENT TRIGGERED CAMPAIGNS that sends out the Email automatically to a user depending on an Event. Due to their high open rate, Event triggered campaigns are a very good way to engage users and to do cross selling.
E.g: If a user sign-up on your website, it is an event that triggers a transactional mail
HOW TO CREATE EVENT TRIGGERED CAMPAIGN:
1. Click on Create New Campaign.
2. Choose the Campaign type as Event triggered.
3. Name the campaign.
4. Click on Save & Next.
5. You can Select the Event name and the Lifecycle of the User here. Email will be sent to the User once he performs this specific Event.
6. You can also Select Tags and Segment.
7. Then Click on ‘ADD EMAIL’
8. Select the TEMPLATE.
9. After you select the Template, put the subject in the subject line, and edit your HTML template
10. You can send a test mail to see if it’s fine
11. Again Click on ‘SAVE & EXIT’
12. Again Click on ‘SAVE’
13. Now Activate the Campaign by clicking on ‘MAKE ACTIVE’ button under the ACTIONS Column.
14. Email sequence Campaigns that sends out the email automatically after a specific time.
SUPPRESSION LIST:
Suppression List is the list of Email address of users who have unsubscribed and now fall under unsubscribed list or made spam complaints leading to fall under spam complaints or those emails that have bounced will fall under emails bounced.
UNSUBSCRIBERS:
You can see the name of the user who has unsubscribed from your Emails, name of the campaign on which they have clicked unsubscribed, reason for which they have unsubscribed along with the date and time of their un-subscription.
SPAM COMPLAINTS:
This page shows the list of users who have marked ‘your’ Emails as spam.
BOUNCED:
Above is the list of users where the email got bounced or was not delivered. This happens due to ‘n’ number of reasons like: email address valid, receiving email server is temporary unavailable, user’s mailbox is full, etc.
