Corporate Stalwarts

Army once again is the talk of the town. Thanks to the martyrdom of two soldiers who, were brutally killed by the Pakistani army. Political leaders lined up to meet an old lady, who was fasting and asking for the head of her beheaded son. Emotional outbursts could be heard from every corner of the country. Emotions will die down very soon and the country will sit at peace, watching experts debating on the TV and relaxing with a feeling of having restored peace.  There will be none to talk about the pain and agony being experienced by the most disciplined soldiers of armed forces on day-to-day basis. The debate on defence budget in the Parliament appears a joke. And here's a CAG Report that states the Army Public Schools, which are serving the cause of the children of Army personnel now for decades, run by the Army Welfare Education Society should be closed; that they cannot be located on defence land as it is the property of Ministry of Defence - which means, the military ...

IITIANS

The pursuit of happiness is driven by unbridled passion. It’s an essential factor to tread the road set by the brave scholar, as the treasures of life lies is in the experience of the journey than on the set destination. When the theory is applied to the most ardent scholars in the country the picture contradicts the fact. The students who make it to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) undergo a great deal of hardship preparing to excel. They seem to be so struck out by the hard work that they find the world outside more appealing then the secured seat in the prestigious engineering college. As per a survey conducted by the IIT-B’s student body it was found that about 75 percent of the students are not interested in spending any time on the academic excellence but pursuing their hobbies. It was also noted in the survey that 75 percent of the students did not submit the assignments without a deadline set on it. The reasons for such frivolous behavior, as concluded by the survey ...

How can you move to a new consciousness  While you are in the claws of the old consciousness? In order to break the old circles We would have to ascend on the spiral of fire. But the fire is not within us. We are only repeating the mantras of old circles. We must create the New Promethean Fire Which will burn out old fossilized circles.  The impossible must be accomplished So that we do not die in our petrified dances. When everything fails – try Light The pure, uncontaminated, Primordial Light. Steep yourself in it.  Dissolve yourself in it.  Make every atom of your body in its image. And then you will be transformed.  The old circles will be transcended. You will be ascending on the fire of freedom.

‘Remember that what’s right isn’t always popular… and what’s popular isn’t always right."

A truth of Life Insight into Decision Making - A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track. The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. workers

Tamil Nadu has more than 10 lakh migrants, doing jobs that local workers shun because of poor pay and dangerous working conditions, but they are easy targets of prejudices against ‘north Indians'. Last weekend, a dishevelled, bare-chested man was almost done to death in Chennai. Police and scores of bystanders watched the young man being beaten unconscious. A few even cheered and egged on the mob. Barely three days before this incident the city witnessed the killing of five men, allegedly involve in a recent spate of bank robberies in the city, in a daring mid-night ‘encounter' with the police. The two incidents, close on the heels of each other, had one commonality—the ‘north Indian' factor. An eyewitness to the lynching told reporters “the mob was screaming north Indian thief” as they “thrashed him” and dragged his unconscious body to the main road. The apparent ‘burglar from north India' finally turned out to be one Venkat Rao from Andhra Pradesh. So who are t...
